Accommodation in Steynsburg - The small town of Steynsburg in the Eastern Cape Province, was founded in 1872 on the farm Bulhoek, and named after the owner, Douw Steyn. Steyn, was the grandfather of President Paul Kruger of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek. Steynsburg became a municipality in 1892. The original Steyn farmhouse is now a museum.
